‘No 50°C summers!’ marches

We are calling for widespread demonstrations in Switzerland in September 2026

Heatwaves are becoming increasingly intense and frequent; their impact on our lives has become significant and is already disrupting our society.

If no action is taken, Switzerland could see summer temperatures of 50°C by 2050.

A broad coalition of more than 130 organisations, which reject the prospect of an unliveable world, is calling for mass demonstrations in September under the slogan ‘No 50°C summers!’.
